Ingredients: rabbit skin glue, powdered----1 part water----10 parts Those parts are entirely up to you. Mix a large quantity and keep it in the refrigerator so it is ready when needed. Soak the powdered glue for half an hour or until the glue mixture begins to swell, then warm in a double boiler until the glue dissolves. Keep the solution hot enough to make sure the glue remains completely dissolved but never "cook" it over direct heat. I have also been known to use the microwave oven for this process but I do not recommend this until you are familiar with the properties of the glue solutions and how you intend to use it. For masonite panels, be sure to apply a layer of denatured alcohol before using the warm solution. Brush the warm glue solution thoroughly into your support. Allow this to dry and your support will be sealed and ready for the ground.
