When Tallulahs.com was first conceived in 1998, it seemed like a creative way to show works of art to people
in every part of the world and provide a new outlet for artists. The way that would happen was, at that point,
not known.
Since that time, we have found many contemporary artists who use vintage images either as inspiration
or as a part of their media. They are all very diverse and each artist has a canny way of melding the mediums
of mass culture with an unadorned, emphatic language perfectly attuned to an age of advertising slogans,
headlines, and, of course, vintage images.
Our hope is to bring those images to the viewer and inspire other artists to branch
into areas they may not have previously considered. We think you will agree.
