Miz Bella
The Queen's Obsession

Southern Charm

Miz Bella is a charming, disarming, wicked, witty, eccentric, eclectic, electric, neurotic, brainy and bold, Southern Gothic goddess. Collector of the odd, macabre, rare & forgotten…..friends as well as objects, Miz Bella has fashioned her mixed-media-altered-art like a mad alchemist always finding something to either inspire or push her to the absolute verge of madness!

You’ll find that her website, The Queen’s Obsession, is blend of obsessions. From beautiful art, altered art, old perfume bottles, rare & precious aromatics, to vintage buttons, hankies, photos and ephermera, there is something for everyone.

"I love the 19th Century. Victorianna. Dark Victoria. Victorian Death and Funeral rituals. Photos of Femmes from long ago who believed in stepping outside the box and making their own way. Books. I love old, musty books that are falling apart yet they still have a story to tell. Dead Poets ~ Baudelaire, Shelley, Dickinson, Bryon, Plath, Sexton. Crushed velvet and roses. Creating art. Making dolls. Making perfumes."

The Queen's Obsession is not about using synthetic ingredients and passing them off as "natural". Pure essential oils, natural butters and carrier oils are used when making products.

Whether it's her artwork, dolls, or aromatics, Miz Bella creates with great care - and she's not out to make a quick buck. She creates because she loves the creation process and you guessed it....she's obsessed about it!
